Privacy policy

Your links stay yours.

Tuck is designed without an account, advertising, behavioral analytics, or a developer-operated server for your saved library.

Effective July 21, 2026
Plain-English summary

The Tuck iOS app stores saved links and organization data locally on your iPhone. The developer does not collect your app library. Your device contacts destination websites only when it needs public information for a link preview or when you open a link.

1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how the Tuck iOS application (the "App") and the Tuck marketing and support website (the "Website") handle information. Tuck is developed and operated by Romello Morris.

2. Information handled by the App

Saved library

URLs, link titles, preview images, collections, tags, and notes you save in Tuck are stored locally on your device. Tuck does not require an account and does not send your saved library to a Tuck server.

Share extension

When you choose Tuck from the iOS share sheet, the App processes the URL and any related text supplied by iOS so it can save that item locally.

No developer analytics, advertising, or tracking

The App does not include developer-operated analytics, advertising networks, cross-app tracking, or data-broker functionality. The developer does not sell or rent App data.

3. Link previews and external websites

To create a preview, your device may contact the destination website and related image hosts to retrieve public information such as a page title, site name, icon, or thumbnail. Those websites may receive standard network information, such as your IP address, request time, and technical request details, under their own privacy policies.

Tuck does not receive or store that network information on a developer-operated server. When you open a saved link, the destination website or app handles the request and its own terms and privacy policy apply.

4. Information handled by the Website

The Website is separate from the App. You may voluntarily provide information through a launch-list or support form, including:

  • Your email address.
  • The support topic and message you submit.
  • Optional troubleshooting details, such as device model, iOS version, App version, or a sample URL.

This information is used only to provide the requested launch notification, answer your support request, investigate a problem, or improve Tuck based on feedback you chose to send.

The Website is prepared for hosting on Netlify. If deployed there, Netlify processes form submissions and routine hosting logs as the Website's service provider. The Website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or behavioral analytics. It may store a theme preference in your browser's local storage so light or dark mode remains consistent.

5. Retention, deletion, and your choices

  • App data: You can delete saved items inside Tuck. Deleting the App generally removes its local data, subject to iOS backup or offloading behavior controlled by you and Apple.
  • Website submissions: Support and launch-list information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, recordkeeping, security, or legal obligations.
  • Deletion request: Use the support form, select "Privacy or data request," and identify the email address used for the submission.

Because the developer does not maintain an account or server-side copy of your Tuck library, the developer cannot view, export, or delete the library stored on your device.

6. Security

Tuck relies on iOS device protections for locally stored App information. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but the App is intentionally designed to minimize the information sent away from your device.

7. Children

Tuck is a general-audience utility and is not directed specifically to children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.

8. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when Tuck's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are posted.

For privacy questions or requests, use the Tuck support page and choose "Privacy or data request."
